The Principles of Philosophy III (page 1 of 2)

This page collects illustrations from Descartes's Principles of philosophy, part III, in various editions, starting from the original Latin of 1644 and the French translation of 1647, up to the 1677 Latin edition. We aim to expand the collection with other early modern prints, and to provide a showcase of Descartes's influential images form this celebrated textbook.
